Abduction Coffee Break, Kuhnhenn 4D

    Hi all, I'm just curious what the trade value is of these beers. I live in Europe and our beer shop just got some for about 11 euros and 8 euros. I made a mistake and bought both already and I already know that I was a bit confused thinking the 4D was actually the BA version, which it doesn't appear to be... :slight_frown:

    Yeah drink up, good stuff! And not bad prices either considering imports on your side. Nice, Pipeworks in Europe now but not even anywhere else outside of Chi in the US

    4d is $7/bottle at the brewery so I think you made out pretty well :wink:

    Plus it's delicious

    given it travelled across the ocean, 11 eur is a really cheap price for coffee break abduction. that's about 15 dollars - that's nearly what i pay after ridiculous chicago taxes.

    edit: US trade value isn't very high as it's not hard to get when it's around, but maybe it's worth more to the right person in europe.

    The regular disappeared at Kuhnhenn few months before the new release. Occasionally it shows up in stores around but it's not regularly available anywhere outside the brewery. They distribute to some places in New York (through a specific connect). They recently sent a whole bunch to Canada (and maybe that's how it got over to Europe?!?)

    Consider yourself blessed, the regular 4D is better than the barrel-aged version. And yes, I realize I'm probably the only person in the world who thinks that way.

    It depends on the batch #/date on the Ninja or hoppy stuff. The stouts are probably a safe bet, I also think the last few berliners they've made have been good.
