Anyone know where I can get anything from New England Beer Company on Boston? I'm out here for a few days and was really hoping to find some.

Unfortunately they don't distribute in MA anymore.

Sorry but am I only one who finds this insane? Admittedly without knowing any details, NE beer company doesnt distribute in Boston? Cmon man, just thinking about that is ridiculous. Cheers.

From what we were told here in CT, they couldn't even supply CT with it which is where they are located, therefore expanding to the other states had to get cut in order to fill CT supply for the time being. They plan to distribute in other states again once they can meet the demand.

I suggest picking up stuff from Jack's Abby and Night Shift instead. Those are my favorite local breweries.

I heard that they recently expanded to Rochester NY though

I briefly looked into that- their distributor in NY supposedly covers the area from Albany to Rochester. No luck for me, though- I usually don't make it further north than Sullivan County. Hopefully it'll get downstate soon enough.

They literally sell 80% of their beer in New Haven County.

I wouldn't say 80 percent but it is alot. Trying to meet demand and getting more tanks to try to get to more states.

It's possible you could maybe find old bottles lying on the shelfs in Boston from when they did distribute here last year. I just saw '11 Wet Willy on the shelf last week at a place in Boston.

We get distro here in Upstate NY through Remarkable Liquids, mostly core stuff like 668, IST, Bot, and Sea Hag, few others in draft and cask. I'm always looking for Night Shift seasonals if any of you guys are looking for a NEBCO fix. BM me.

Distro will hopefully expand again once they get a few more tanks shoehorned in the garage.

    Gonna have a 7.5 for bretts/experiments too.

It's not insane or ridiculous, it's a real small operation that is taking care of their home state and locals first. I don't find anything wrong with that. Lots if small breweries do the same thing...CHEERS

F.Y.I., it's New England Brewing Company people not Beer Company

I dont mean to sidetrack this thread too much, but at this point do they have an available selection of bottles and beers on tap Saturdays or do they sell out?

    Long wait for fills?

Since they dont come around boston I need to make the trip soon

They have 4 or so beers on. They do a decent job of posting the available selections to Facebook, Twitter, and the NEBCO thread in here. Rarely bottles and cans for sale at the brewery.

If you wanted to rush in and out, you'd be able to do so in under 10 minutes. That said, why rush? Enjoy a few samples and hang out.

They close around 3pm on Saturday's, they usually have 4 beers on tap for growler fills, but there is Amity wine & spirits about 1/8 of a mile away for your 6 pks and 4 pks. If you ask on the New England Brewing thread BA's will let you know what's on tap at the brewery. Hope this helps....CHEERS

Awesome thanks guys, im not in a rush but after a lengthy process at HF a few weeks back (3 hours) I want to plan a weekday if it was similar.

Saturdays sound great to me then!

Been in that HF line a number of times. I figured that's what you were reffering to.

NEBCO is a very different experience, but only slightly larger in size.
