No, but definitely going to seek some out. I, too, am a fan of Scotch Ales and if this is similar in profile, I'll definitely have to try it.

    Cheers!

Got this as an extra last Summer and loved it. Really bummed I didn't see it when I was in SF earlier in the year.

I'm jealous, I wish we got 21st Amendment here in Florida. May want to grab it while you can too, they announced they won't be making it again for a while and are going to be trying a different seasonal in it's place next year.

Yes, it is quite fantastic. One of my Top 3. Quite upset when I heard they stopped it for 2012 and will pick up again in 2013. Would always have it in the fridge if I could.

So good. Bummed about it going away for a bit but excited to see what they will be bringing out. If anyone wants some I'd be more than happy to trade some.

Love that beer. I think it's my favorite from them. Glad that it's a seasonal. When it first came out I thought it was going to be a one off.

This is the beer that led me to BA in a roundabout way. I was trying to get more info on it after reading an article where it was mentioned. Funny thing is that after over 2 years on BA and numerous trips up to the SF area I still have not tried this one.

I had some last year and have tried the first one this year last Sunday. I really liked the mouthfeel, the flavors were rich, but there is something that was really jumping out in the flavor that I couldn't put my finger on. Fortunately, I have at least one more chance to figure it out.

My personal experience with Monk's Blood in the past is it is nothing special. I love dubbels which I believe it is supposed to be resembling, I will take a Rochefort 8 or even Ommegang Abbey over that any day.

Just anticipating how much I'll be able to molest for it next year when it's not around. Isn't that how we do it these days?

Some do, I just look to trade for things I want that I can't get normally.
