I have a bottle of Jah-va, really would like to have tried that Mokah - Here's hoping they bring them back.

    When does Creme Brulee hit?

Here is one of the replacements:

Southern Tier Brewing (Lakewood, NY) is adding to the infamous Blackwater Series. The series is home to the likes of Creme Brulee and Choklat.

Plums are a diverse group of species, with somewhere between 19 & 40 varieties depending upon whom you ask. We’re using what we consider to be the best to brew with. The Italian plum has beautiful dark skin & the flesh is perfect for fermentation.

    MOODY & EVOCATIVE

Plum Noir’s mild sweetness is derived not necessarily from the plums, but from the many malts we use. A bit of plum flavor is present as well as earthy, toasted grains, & hints of caramel with mild coffee overtones

Style: Imperial Porter (w/ Italian Plums)
    Availability: 22oz bombers, Draft
    Arrival: Summer, 2013

    8% ABV

I could see this one being way too sweet if they don't do it right. Plum wine to me is like sugar water.

It's growing on me! I had to force myself to finish the one I had last night, but this evening it's easy sipping. The mouthfeel is pretty damn good, and probably my favourite part. That and the slightly warm, bitter finish.

Pumking on tap at Guru Burger in Sugarland. Buy beer and get a Southern Tier pint glass. First time having it. Worth the hype IMO.
