Actually I'm 99% sure that old JK thread was deleted because it reached nearly 90 pages. I'm pretty sure once threads reach that threshold, they're deleted to save space.

I'm bringing a Cantillon St. Lamvinus and another bottle or two.

Prepare yourself, I've had a bottle or two that tasted like a litter box.

Admittedly I did just have a bottle of 2012 Oude Geuze that didn't taste as sharp and acidic as one I had a few months ago. But I think that's just the nature of the beast with soured/gueuze beers. Batches may vary.

I have been dying to try St. Lamvinus for a while. I believe my 2nd bottle will be opened for my graduation bottle share. But I might save it for a few years to see what happens with it (I'm told 5 years is the sweet spot). I have a 2008 Lou Pepe Kriek that I might trade or open as far as "rare" Cantillon goes.

When the "Funk" is strong, it is very ammonious.

I'm still on the fence with sours and the hardcore funk, but I'll give anything a fair taste. But I do understand what you mean now though.

But will it be a brewery release only if the new law passes? This goes for Boxers, Funk and the other limited releases as well.

You saying this makes me think maybe I want to do my graduation bottle share/tasting at Jester King. Artisan Pizza+Jester King's atmosphere & beers....I think it would be perfect.
