The Specs on 1604 and 35 had a case of KBS in the back earlier this morning, not sure how much is left. One bottle limit, ~6$ each. Also had a bunch of Double Trouble, All Day IPA, and Centennial sitting out.
A friend stopped by the Specs on DeZavala and asked and they had no KBS.

If you completely miss out on the KBS hunt and have never tried it, I managed to get a few from the HEB Plus on 281 and Evans (didn't know they had such a good selection - saw Weasel Rodeo and Das Uberkind! still in the cooler) I would love to share the wealth, shoot me a BM and we'll see if we can meet up somewhere (Ananke day?).

I haven't kept up too much with the new breweries coming to TX so forgive me if I've missed it. Are we getting any Southern Tier or Firestone Walker in bottles?

Southern Tier is already here and no FSW yet

Most craft beer shops have Hop Sun, 2XIPA, Unearthy, IPA & Iniquity.

Maybe this is old news but sculpin is at the HEB plus in Boerne. I hadn't seen ballast point around yet.

I wanna say the best by date was in July. Not sure what their "length of freshness" is, or whatever you'd call it.

Best by date is 3 months from bottling, I think, so if it was a July date, it was bottled in April

Sounds like the original batch to hit the state when they did their launch and HEB is moving it in a attempt to get rid of it.

Yeah that seems old. I have bought a couple Sculpin up here in Austin with a best by 9/26/13

Wow, I usually stay away from IPAs with no bottle date. Glad I didn't pull the trigger on this one.

This caused me to check into it a little more, and apparently Sculpin dating has changed from 3 months from bottling to 6 months. Which means that Sculpin dated July likely was bottled in Jan/Feb. Dodged a bullet on that one

Unearthly, 2XIPA, IPA, Hop Sun, and Iniquity. Spec's and CM have them, and Gabriels probably does as well.

Just FYI, Freetail has Scots Gone Wild on tap (and I still don't like it).
