Last time you drank from the bottle?

Musicians, like golfers, like craft beer enthusiasts, like wine drinkers, like people who ride a bike to work, like people who collect drift wood, etc., etc. also have their share of people doing it just to be perceived a certain way.

I do it for the same reason you play(ed) golf, because it's fun as hell.

Sorry about the shop accident, that sounds like a real bummer.

I got my share of women as a drummer. Sure they were missing some teeth and one of them had an eye-patch, but women nonetheless.

 

The last tasting I was at. who knew they would be snobs and expect me to use a glass, I still left plenty for them...

 

You just picked them up to be perceived a certain way. We call those guys "good teammates"... taking one for the team.

 

Glad you guys are friends again. That was quite a whirlwind

 

I think last summer I drank a Bass Ale right out of the bottle. I'll drink some cans straight up like Dales Pale Ale or Blue Point White IPA but everything pretty much goes in one of my glasses.

 

Yesterday. I used to be a stickler about it but one day I was was like, jesus just drink the damn beer. I certainly wouldn't guzzle a Parabola straight from the bottle. But if it's something refreshing like SNPA and I'm Yo-Yo-ing outside on a sunny Sunday...why dafuggnot?

 

Cans are doooooooooooooooooooooooope!

 

2 nights ago, had a Lagunitas Undercover straight from the bottle, it was delicious. Made sure when trying it for the first time that I poured it, but it's still an amazing beer in the bottle. My reasoning? Didn't feel like dirtying a glass.

I'll generally always pour, but a beer doesn't change so much to where it doesn't taste amazing still, it tastes better poured, but it's not a damn crime to drink from the bottle. There's a reason they come in convenient 12 oz containers.

And I don't have to buy cheap adjunct or light lagers to drink from the bottle either, I want good beer.

I honestly don't remember. It usually doesn't take much effort to obtain a glass.

 

We're not friends... we're just perceived that way. OK, I've milked that line for all it's worth.

Hey, in all seriousness... I think everyone here are "friends" for the most part. We all share one common passion. But, we don't have to see eye to eye on every single issue.

 

I may have been seen with my own beer glass at parties at other peoples houses I've never been to before.

 

And why wouldn't you be honest

 

I usually reserve bottle drinking for BMC products while at friends or someplace where I don't have access to craft. I refuse to try to get more flavor out of a BMC product by putting it in a glass.

Last time a drank from the bottle, though, was a deuce-deuce of Fat Tire while riding my 2012 Fat Tire bike around my neighborhood. Not advocating that as a good idea, btw.

 

I had a tasty Blue Moon Agave Nectar Ale live from the bottle yesternight. I drink beer from the bottle all the time. I mainly drink stouts from a glass. Other than that, I drink beer from a bottle.

I will say, and this sounds lame, I pour beer in a glass if i'm gonna put a photo of it on Instagram or Beer Advocate

 

As an evil wizard, I pretty much do as I please, even drinking beer from cans and bottles on occasion. Especially when barbecuing.

Last night.

 

Last night drank some zombie dust straight out of the bottle. It was delicious.

 

Did it today again with my Fire Rock Pale Ale's.
