Apples/oranges comparing Ananke Day/LM to what happened at Craft & Growler IMO. Those of course, will be crowded, but this happened on a random Sunday when there were no other events at the venue. The organizers just wanted to be sure to set aside enough space. To be honest, I'm glad they did have enough space to accommodate everyone.

Yep. Not that it's ruined but it left a sour taste in my mouth that those same "lurkers/crashers" then stayed until 8pm. I'm getting with Kevin soon to plan another but it will be different.

 

Oh WOW, had no idea about that part. I'd be pretty salty as well!

 

To be fair, the bros allow one "what are you drinking" thread a day. This is to curb all the dozens of "what are you drinking" threads that would pop up daily, and ad nauseum anyway. I would rather see one of those a day than dozens. Just like I am tiered of seeing a number of different Jester King and Founders threads in this forum.

 

For every registered lurker, there's probably 5 more un-registered lurkers.

I agree with you about one WAYD now, which I happen to be a fan of.
However, what's your (a general you) issue with 3 jk threads instead of 1? I'd rather scroll through thrice as many recent thread titles (eg 60 instead of 20) than hunt through 23 pages of one jk thread. Especially considering the last 1 or 2 pages have been off topic (though interesting) about lurkers. I'm now guilty of going off topic too.

Good point. The number of threads have calmed down a bit since the "everything" threads. It also doesn't help that pretty much any news posted about JK/Texas in other worthy news forums gets moved here. Though there have been a large number of repeat threads about JK and Founders in particular. I guess I have just gotten worn out by it all, and hardly any thread stays on topic anymore. Which is sad in and of itself, and everyone is to blame
