I've been wanting to try their beers for some time now, just haven't had the chance to go. My sister is going to be near there soon and can get me a growler. Just wondering what you think is good that is on tap now. I like Ipa's and pale ale's specifically. Thanks!

HopHands is their "always on tap" hoppy pale ale. It's a solid option. They turn over kegs pretty quickly, so it is hard to say what will be on tap when your sister is up there, but they keep up to date with releases on Facebook.

When is she going? Right now Pineal is on tap which is an exceptional IPA. This week they should be tapping Carpathian Kitten Loss, a double IPA that should be right in line with all of their past DIPAs. They do a CO2 purge on each growler fill now too.

You can go to the Tired Hands website and click on the On Tap tab. As of today they have two hoppy beers on tap:

“Pineal: IPA. 6.0% Brewed with oats and PA wildflower honey. Hopped with Mosaic, Amarillo, and Simcoe.

-Notes of sweet nectarine, pine needles, blueberry, and honeydew melon.

HopHands: Our exceedingly aromatic Pale Ale . 4.8% Brewed with oats and hopped with a blend of Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial.

-Notes of lush citrus, fresh cut grass, under-ripe kiwi, and slight pineapple.”

I have had HopHands several times and it is indeed a tasty APA.

    Cheers!

If she happens to be visiting during the weekend of June 2nd, their One Year Anniversary Party is going down. I'm not sure if they will be filling growlers or not, but it's something worth considering perhaps.

Really hoping "Carpathian Kitten Loss" gets tapped before this weekend!

Tell her to ask them to purge the growler so you have the best possible experience, especially if you won't be drinking it for a day or two.

I love this place, my wife's grandmother lives in Broomall, and for years I've hated going to visit with her. However, I realized Tired Hands is a 15 minute drive away, my wife can't understand why I am so eager to visit Bubbi all of a sudden.

Tell Jean this story, and I wouldn't be surprised if he were open to naming a beer after Bubbi.

Pineal was awesome but kicked last night. I really liked Jittery Tiger too but I like coffee a lot and like how jean infuses his beers with it.

Had their WiggleWurm DIPA a few weeks ago and was blown away..... to me it was right up there with the highly hyped DIPAs we always hear so much about.
