I second 8*. That place is great, and one of the only places I know of that actually focuses ONLY on beer. It's not a wine shop or general purpose liquor store. It's a beer store.

How far is that from Macomb?

I'll be Michigan bound in less than 24 hours. Thanks everyone for all the advice! Still waiting to hear back on a couple trades but here is what limited beers I could bring for trade (my duplicates) if anyone is interested.
    Avery - Muscat D'Amor
    Avery - Recolete Savage
    Avery - Immitis
    Avery - Volunt Plus Erat
    Drie Fonteinen - Oude Geuze
    Deschutes - Black Butte XXI
    Ska - Skawork Orange Creame

I could also hit up the store if looking for something else but need to know soon. Looking for any BA beers. BM me

    Cheers!

Thanks everyone for all the great MI suggestions! Also a big thanks to abanton and runninmixz for the good beer trades.

Adam - That homebrew was awesome! I could drink a six pack of that.

Breweries we made it out to:
    Kuhnhenn
    Jolly Pumpkin
    Founders
    Bells
    Dark Horse

    Cheers!

What did you think of the breweries you visited?

I think my two favorites were Kuhnhenn and Founders. Awesome beers, good staff, and cool atmosphere. I was pretty disappointed with Bells (pretty bad service). Dark Horse had a good staff and good beers but felt more like a bar rather than a brewery.
