Let's Go Tigers and Comerica beer selection

Ah, a joke...got it.

 

Didn't we already go around this "ooh, but the prices are so high at the ballpark" pole at the beginning of this thread? Once again, the "complainers" can go to the games and pass on the beers altogether or buy an $8-10 macro beer (yuck), or like me enjoy and applaud the craft beer option while routing on the home team.

That's why I bring my own beer and popcorn to the movies.

 

Yeah, I remember the good ole days of sneaking beer into the movies as a teen. Shitty beer at that, but I saved tons of money and that's all that matters, am I right?

 

If there was any thread I DIDN'T want to be nuked, it'd be this one.

Complain somewhere else. Let's leave this one for great beer updates at the park.

 

Feel free to hate on me for 'letting the secret out' here, but I'm just trying to spread the beer karma. I went to the Tigers game last night (First game for my son. 14 weeks old. Slept through most of it, cried through none) and the chalkboard near the MI craft beer stand read as follows:

Firkin Friday - Bells Two Hearted
Saturday - Bells Bourbon Barrel Cherry Stout

God only knows if they'll actually follow through with the keg for Saturday...and if they do, who knows how much they'll have.

Anyone out there who is able to verify the keg for Saturday?

PS - Any other ballparks doing bourbon barrel kegs this weekend? No? Didn't think so.

 

We definently have the BBCS for saturday its only a 1/6 barrel so come early, also new to our regular beer list we have motor city brewing's hard cider so we now have a gluten free option

due to shipping error we will have founder's centenial ipa on tap sunday and maby a little left for monday june 17

Very much enjoyed Two Hearted and All Day at the game Friday Night. I was also impressed with the 20+ deep lines for most of the game in the craft beer room!

 

I'm not going to a game until the 26th but damn am I stoked for this development.

Section 104 for the MI craft beer stand, right?
If so, thats my favorite part of the park. I rarely sit in my seat anyway. Just hang on the rail at the porch.

 

I think its between sections 102 and 103. Had an all day ipa at the game on thursday, just felt right watching the tigers while drinking a good beer. I would have been triple fisting some bb cherry stout if I had went to the Saturday game.

 

Any word for Firkin Friday selection?

 

this week for Firkin Friday it will be Final Absolution from Dragonmead, there will we something extra on tap for Saturday but it is still to be determined, and on Thursday June 27, we will be having a Bell's night, featuring bottles of bell's porter, lager of the lakes, and possibly a couple more bell's bottles that we don't usually have, Blacknote on tap, and a Mystery Firkin that I'm just not allowed to tell you about, there will also be alot of folks from Bell's in stadium and at least Before the Game we should have a represenative from Bell's on hand in the craft beer stand, So come on down its gonna be a great day
