What beer are you drinking now? #217

Been smokin these since 5;00 yesterday for my buddies Memorial Day party. Drank until 2 last night while monitoring so startting late today but gonna open up with a sixpoint crisp, victory summerlove, summerfest and then move to resin for the afternoon festivities.

 

I am drinking beer today. I feel like some Stones, Beatles, Eminem or the Weeknd. Probably play them all. What are y'all listenin' to while partaking of the greatest beverage known to mankind?

 

Nothing. I'm getting ready to go to play some Buzztime trivia at the local Old Chicago and see if they have anything new on the taps whilst I answers the questions in a wrongly way.

 

I'd never seen Firestone Walker's Pale 31 before it appeared at my neighborhood packy yesterday. Tasty brew at just under 5% abv.



(I may have to run out for something specifically German in a little bit, though, in anticipation of today's Germans-vs-Germans Champions League final. Heidelberg7's got the right idea, as seen a bit up the thread.)

Beer. It's the real shitz. It's made from grains, which is the bread from which we taketh. Water, blessed life giving water. It can give you a buzz, which we like, but it also allows you to not become shit-faced, if you so choose. It's the drink of friendship. It loosens you up, in order to explore yer relationships w/ your fellow humans. Perfect, it is. You can also dissect it and review it. Perfect!

 

My local Old Chicago always has sumpin good on tap. For example, last time I was there, they had Left Hand milk stout on tap. Paired very nicely w/ the thin crust pepperoni and mushroom pizza.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say I'm having the best lunch in Arkansas today , big shout out to KevSal for the trade and allowing me to get my hands on this bottle of California sunshine......................Cheers all

 

That's not a bad place to work if they send you to places where you can pick up goodies like that- assuming you picked them up while traveling! You could do worse.....Prost BAs!
