I really need YOUR help for Westvleteren beer!!!!

    Most of you know i regular ship Westvleteren to the BA community.

    Two weeks ago i shipped a parcel to a BA in California. His best friend is getting married soon and he wanted to give him some Westvleteren 12 bottles to drink at the wedding.

    A very stupid thing happened. The adress i used was 100 percent correct but USPS has send the parcel back because they "could not deliver it". Time is running out and there is no way i can get a next shipment in time at his place.

    That is where our community comes in! I want to ask the American BA's who have Westvleteren 12 at home if they can ship a few bottles to our Californian BA so that he can give some bottles at the wedding. Your parcel will only take a few days...........

    The BA's who help me out in this one will be a royal seat regarding Westvleteren beers. In other words, i will make sure you get some nice Westvleteren bottles back from me......

    Let me know what you can do and how fast you could get two or more bottles in California. I will give you the adress so that you can ship the beers.

    I live in CA and just happen to have 2 bottles of 12, well one 12 and 1 XII. Is there anything else you would need? I have some Cantillons as well

    Shoot me a BM and i will mail you the name of the BA! Westvleteren would be great and i will assure you will get some nice bottles back!

    Do you still need someone? I have one bottle of 12, however it was a birthday present last year so I wasn't planning on trading it, but I can if you still need some.

    In case you guys aren't familiar with Thijs - he is the man when it comes to Westie 12. He goes to the abbey where the Westvleterens are brewed so often, he and the brewmonks know each other by name.

    He said basically your sending it to the Cali BA and he's sending you replacement Westy...I wouldn't really call that trading it away.

    Haha gotcha, I was just curious...because you said Westies yet you mentioned you only have one, so I thought you meant that all Westies aren't fungible and I was just wondering why they wouldn't be.

    Thanks for the mails guys, we are covered at the moment with the help of three GREAT BA's who live in the region!

    It is great to see how the BA community reacts!!

    Thijs, I know I've already said it many times, but THANK YOU!! You truly are a beer advocate. I really appreciate the effort you've put into this. It means a lot to me. My brother and his soon-to-be wife are going to be thrilled.

    And thanks to everyone who has offered to help out. I can't believe how many people stepped up. This is an amazing community!
