I too have the same refrigerator and did a few modifications to it (because I also noticed bowing a couple of years ago and became worried). First, I made a "wooden infrastructure" and then put wire behind each shelf in the door to insure none of the plastic holders would pop out. You can see the support for the shelves here:

No worries. I wouldn't trade it, which is why I want it so badly. My personal white whale. Ill cope without it though lol.

Been hunting on Craigslist for a wine cellar to condense my on hand beer to one fridge and also age some at the same time. I have some beer in an actual cellar, so I wanted something for the short term. Found this beauty :

Made the shelving from closet shelves. Temperature controlled and already tinted door. Little over my budget, but well worth it.

Why do you have Pliny, Zombie dust, and Jack's Abbey stuff in there, though? That shit should be fridge temp until you drink it...

I'm using this as a fridge/anything I intend to drunk in the short term. Anything I really intend to age is currently sitting in a real cellar, but is miles away. Why I needed something like this.

Ah, I see. I'd still be nervous about keeping beer like that above fridge temp (which I assume the wine fridge is, but maybe I'm assuming incorrectly), but I'm pretty anal about hoppy beer.

Dumb question , but this is a good time to ask cus I can be anal about hops too.. What is a good temp for those beers? I have this fridge below cellar temp currently because my main purpose isn't to age them.

I think in general the colder the better, since you don't want them to age. Standard fridge is something like 38-42, I think, that's where I'd put them.

I also may have a skewed perspective of wine fridges because mine doesn't have a compressor, it uses a Peltier cooler, so it can't get that cold. Hence my surprise at those being in there, even though of course a compressor fridge could go colder.

I had it set to 48 now 50. Everything seems nice and cold. May go back to 48. I found my mini fridge got IPAs too cold at times.

Just picked up 2 of these for $40 ($20 each) at a garage sale. 44 bottle capacity each. 88 total. Time to start having some fun!
