I'm thinking I'll be there around 5. If you're looking for anther person to pitch in for a shared bottle to taste just let me know. I think I'm only going to buy 2 bottles, so would be nice to get a taste to see if it would benefit from a little time to mellow out.

Is this sale cash only? Or was the last one cash only?

    Thanks!

Last time they had two lines, and the cash one was much shorter for the first rush. They do take CC though.

The brewer is "happy with it." We'll see tomorrow!

It is my impression that it has not made it to any festival or event. So no one has tasted it except the brewer(s).

Hell, if it was known to be half decent, we would have seen people setting pretrades up.

At this point, all I know is that it could be shite or (King Henry) x (1 - delta).

They had a 1/6th barrel at Beer Dabbler that was gone in 20 min. I wasn't about to wait in line for it.

I had it at the dabbler. I was under the impression that it was not the BA version. It was a great Barleywine without treatment. My feeling is this is going to be well worth $20. I guess we will see, though. I an on being there at around 4-4:30 and will bring a delicious offering to share with those who are worthy.

    From Steel Toe:

I would like to answer a few questions we've received about the Lunker release tomorrow:
    1. We accept cash and credit (cash line historically is shorter and quicker)
    2. Yes, we had the unbarreled (and very young) version of Lunker at the Dabbler. It has since smoothed out and taken on some great flavors (courtesy of the TR barrels).
    3. Lunker is best enjoyed at ~65 degrees.

    See you all tomorrow! PROST!!
