the beer / baseball card analogy is exactly the one used on the trade forums to criticize people trading for the wrong reasons. if you wouldn't trade equal value for equal value, you're kind of deluded--on several levels. first of all, there's no reason for traders to interact with you; they're trying to get good beer, not be dicked around by a used car salesman. second, you're wasting your time (it really is "just beer", you buy it / trade for it, drink it, and move on).

    Ask yourself this:
Would I pay $35 for a 12oz glass of beer?

Except the average house is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and people put work into their homes. Where talking about a beer. A carbonated malt beverage nothing more nothing less.

I will never spend $70 on 1 beer. I don't give a fuck what it is. Hype is all that shit is.

I think its a good price, they usually Sk for 100 or more. Buy it and get it out of your system and then move on

I had it last New Years, and I don't think it was good enough to justify $70. Maybe you can get someone to go half with you, so that it will only be $35? That seems like a more reasonable price to me.

I personally would never spend that much money on a single bottle of beer. Chocolate Rain is delicious, but I'd rather have 7 other bottles of beer to enjoy instead of one.

It depends how bad you want. If you want it bad enough, you are going to pay for it.

I personally hate this beer. If someone gave me one I would probably share it with people that want to try it but would not have any myself. To me paying any amount is not worth it. But for you it depends how badly you want to try it. Also its not that rare...

Wow, I don't know what's more insane. Considering shelling out 70 bucks for one beer or people saying that its worth 40! I will take and entire case of Something that is still awesome for 50 thanks

That's a higher percentage of my average paycheck than I'd like to admit. So........Nooooooo......

But, like others have said before me: If you have that kind of cash that you're willing to part with for one beer then go for it

I am curious what 70 dollars will buy in a beer, so if you do get it let me know what you think : )
