T25: What should I expect it to take?

I'm interested in acquiring T25, but am fairly new to trading and it seems like most of the limited release beers I have been able to acquire aren't really the sort to draw large trades. Couple to that the fact that most of the desirable stuff I can get locally is RR stuff (probably not a good bet to land rarer RR stuff), and I'm just not sure what I should expect in terms of being able to land some T25.

    I have:
    Parabola (2013)
    Sucaba (2013)
    Double DBA (2012)
    Love Child No 3
    Black Butte XXIV

And then a bunch of more common things in the vein of RR regular offerings, Black Xantus, Speedway Stout, Stone IRS and Espresso IRS. Not really sure any of this is desirable in trade, despite it all being pretty damn good beer.

Presumably there are resources here to get T25, but I'm just not really sure what I should expect to have to offer and didn't want to throw up an ignorant or uneducated ISO/FT.

There's definitely no obvious bottle that will get this done in your collection. As you note, anyone with a T25 will have access to the rest. They're all really good beers (many would argue better than T25, though I wouldn't), just not hard to get. On the other hand, you might find a nice local trader who would just send you one $4$. Or invite you to a tasting where one is getting opened.

Other options would be to go to some rarer bottle releases. We don't get a ton of those up here, but I know someone would consider parting with a T25 for a Sante Adairius Appreciation, for example.

T25 is fucking delicious. I can get some more for on site consumption only, but I wouldn't give it up for those if I had a bottle in my possession. I'd just drink it. Could try going way over $4$ for it and see what happens.

That's really the only way this will get done. It was a rather limited bottle release that was not distributed. Those beers you are offering are all easily obtainable shelf beers that are mostly available in CA, so unless you are willing to go over $4$, I really do not see this getting done.

Why the interest in T25 if you don't mind me asking?

Really old Temptation could get it done, maybe...

Ok, so the situation is roughly as dire as I'd thought, lol.

I wanted to acquire some because a new regular trade partner who has access to much more beer than I do on a regular basis wanted to get a bottle, and I figured it wouldn't be getting any easier to acquire with time. I feel like I attend fewer releases and other events than this person does, and so it's probable that through this trade arrangement down the road I'd have access to and receive brewery-only things that I can't get on my own, and would like to have something that can at least repay this person's generosity in-kind.

I've struck out with Fou Foune, Lamvinus, Upland Lambics+, Jackie O's sours and barrel stuff+, as well as King Henry+.

It's a tough get, I gave up. I'd love to try it someday though.

I would probably trade mine for one of the better uplands and fou. Just for reference

Really? I traded mine for Fou Foune. I think, actually, I traded all of my bottles (except the one signed by Vinnie) for Cantillon. So I'd expect Cantillon to get it done.

Yeah, I thought Fou Foune would get it done. Oh well, it's a low bottle count, brewery only sour from a highly regarded brewer.

    And timing is everything.

I've heard it's landed Blabaer 750ml 1:1, though this was probably an overseas trade.

T25 is hard to land no doubt. It would take the rarer loons (north of FF) or BA Hunah, BA Abraxas, CFH etc...

Does Fou'Foune not get it done 1:1 anymore? I must have done that trade like 6 times last fall/winter...

Those last 3 you list would tempt me to trade one too.

I'd give up a FF in a heartbeat . The interwebs would crash if someone ISO:FF FT: T25 today

Interesting....this beer trading thing is worse than the stock market! Not that it probably helps, but Armand and Tommy is going 1:1 with T25 right now, I just did that one recently (T25 has a soft spot in my heart, so tasty...I'd bath in it if I could...TMI? :stuck_out_tongue:).

So what are the 3L's going for? Anyone traded one?

Well, they cost $240 cash. So I would assume they take a lot of limited release brewery exclusives with low bottle counts, or some serious walez.

That's funny, I wouldn't entertain trading Cantillon one-offs, BA Hunah, BA Abraxas, or CFH for a T25...

FT: Blabaer or 50n4e or BA Abrx or BA Huna or CFH ISO: T25 would blow up the internet

I'd say T25 trades more in the Bourbon County Vanilla range
