Let me preface this by saying Beerthirty is the man. I am not usually one to trade and tell, but I just could not help myself this time. He and I have done a few trades and this time he absolutely killed it. The original trade was for some harder to get West Coast beers for some harder to find East Coast stuff. Since we have done a few trades we typically keep the boxes pretty vague. It adds to the fun of the exchange. I got home today to probably the craziest box I have ever received. 2x Alpine Nelson 2x Alpine Duet 2x Alpine Pure Hoppiness Blighs Barrel aged Barley wine (big want) FdA Older Viscosity La roja grande reserva Alesmith oak aged Grand Cru and finally 2010 Blaeber. Absolutely destroyed that box.
That's a great box. However, there is an unwritten rule here on BA. The person who spells Blabaer wrong despite having a bottle has to send it to the person who points this out.
Very similar to my experience trading with him. There was just bottle after bottle of ridiculous extras. He's a solid guy and I really enjoy chatting with him.
