Back East Misty Mountain IPA in cans just arrived this morning. I tried this beer before it was out and I really enjoyed it. They said they were making some slight changes to it and I was afraid that would kill it for me but it is definitely just as good as I remember! What a great local IPA!!

Those Blackouts are some of the best stouts ever, IMO. And I probably will get lynched for saying this, but I feel sorry that you got Plead the 5th.. I do not think it's remotely worth the hype (if anyone wants my last couple bottles for trade, let me know). The BBA version, however, is one of the best beers ever made. But what do I know? I could be a time-travelling priest of Cthulhu who knows nothing about beer for all you guys know.:astonished:

The original trade was for the Blackout (traded BA Framinghammer) and the others were extras. I can't wait to try them all. You got to love getting stuff you can't buy locally.

Yeah. I had never seen that before, and looked up the BA profile on it, and nearly had to change my pants. I absolutely adore the Raspberry Tart, and the Belgian Red is a close second. I am sad, though, that I can't find anything remotely similar that is easy to acquire or local :slight_frown:

Gotta love that. If you look a page or two back, you'll see my most recent haul with beers I cannot get locally and some that are very far away. Forward that BA kindness in your next trade!

    Kinda bummed out.

Had my first break sent back to me.

A box with 8 head hunters and a growler of willoughby brewery peanut butter cup porter arrived on my doorstep 3 days after shipping sans growler...at least they returned the $22 in ipa's....next time bigger box for the growler. It's a weird feeling having good beer break like that...I feel horrible!

Man hate to hear that , I kind of wondered what they would do with the rest of the box if that happen. Was the growler broke in the box or had it been opened?

Feel like it broke...they took the 8 bottles, put them in a bag then a new box and sent them back to me...I have sent two of these growlers in the past with no issues..

Well LiquidDegenerate and I completed a trade about a week or so ago and for some unknown reason he manhandles my porch with this today :grimacing::grimacing: I guess Jim wasn't done?

Now don't get me wrong I am enormously grateful but at the same time furious because this was not needed on Jim's part. Now sweet revenge will be mine  Stay tuned!

Thanks Jim. You are one generous dude!
