Better late than never, but thank you Pipeworks for sending Bobby to Parson's Chicken and Fish this past Tuesday! So glad he came and I got to meet him, he was awesome. It was really fantastic that y'all did that for us and great to learn about Pipeworks. Not sure if Bobby is on BA but tell him thank you and it was great from Andy from Parson's! Cheers!

 

I grabbed that last bottle of RTA yesterday around 6. It eluded me quite a few times. I grabbed a simcoe ninja too, there were 4 left.

fwiw... barrel aged beer is tasting amazing right now... we've really taken it to another level now that we've started an actual barrel program. you won't be disappointed with what we have going on (we're actually surprised at how well the beers are doing... it's like having fobab in our basement)

still needing some time and possibly some blending are:
Abduction (with scotch ale yeast)

End of Days

now that we know things are going well, we're going to drop some more beer in barrels very soon...
couple more Abductions (but brewed bigger)
couple more Imperial Jones Dogs (to possibly be Hyper/End of days)
more murderous for sure
a bigger Last Kiss
Coffee Break Abduction
hopefully Nisperos in rum barrels
CASH in wine barrels
Santa vs Unicorn for a short stint

we'll most likely be doing all of these in 375's so there should be enough for all our FwB and some left over for general sale at the bottle shop in the fall.

Love it Pipeworks! Making me want to move down to Chicago from Wisconsin after next year and become a FIB.

 

Or stay put and make the trek down I-94 for releases and give an alternative meaning to Pipeworks' FwB program

 

I can't wait for the BA End of Days. It's already a favorite (in my imagination at least.)

 

Wish I could, I live in Madison so I have to do the 2-hour drive through Rockford on I-90 lol.
