Hey all,
I just moved to Dallas from up north and am always up for a bottle share. Count me in for the next one! Where do you guys usually meet?

Staying with family near University Park for the time being. Just started a new job in Plano last Tuesday, finding my own place soon. Cellar is currently in (reasonably accessible) storage

 

From Brooklyn. I'm gonna miss the weekend trips to HF, Tired Hands, and Peekskill.

 

Yeah I can understand that. But you'll find we have a cool (nutty? crazy?) group in DFW. Let us know if you want to meet for a beer somewhere, or to know where some good places are.

 

Interested in both. Was pretty disappointed with Deep Ellum after stopping by the brewery this afternoon. Got plans to hit up Ginger Man downtown soon. Where else should I try?

 

Deep Ellum is experiencing complete operational uncertainty- their head brewer left while they were still looking for an assistant, and their owner has begun to favor business decisions over beer decisions. The best bars downtown are Strangeways, The Bottle Shop, Goodfriend, The Libertine Bar, Craft & Growler (for local stuff), Meddlesome Moth, and The Common table. The latter two have the best food offerings. I may have missed something; someone can fill in the gaps.

Let me know if you wanna meet at any one of 'em.

 

I heard their brewer left a few weeks back but didn't realize their troubles ran that deep. The family I'm staying with has known the DEBC owner for decades, so I don't have the heart to forward that news to them. Heh...
