Jester King Bottle Share June 1st

I think you guys killed poor Brad (Clonies). I was drinking a beer with a trading partner friend of his in Denver and the texts both he and I were getting from him gave me a good sense that everyone had a REALLY great time, lol.

Also, I made his day by finding a supposedly dried up #1 want for him (he might even be able to pry the 2nd away from me. ).

 

Dillon is becoming a household name in the Texas beer scene.
And Brad peed himself a little (ok, a lot) when you told him about the BA Hibernation

I somehow ended up coming home with as much, or more, beer than I went with, which isnt how this is supposed to happen. Brought 4 bottles to share (1 never got opened), made a trade with bccocx, was given a bottle by Clonies (KBS!) and a bottle by Bentwookie (Chocolate Rain!), and purchased a couple bottles of BB3 ($6 to go at Stanleys!).

The generosity of others is preventing me from drinking down my cellar

And I'm sad that I got there late and missed the beer food.....

 

I snagged a bottle of the BB3, too, and the top came off in transit! That sure was something to find when we opened the cooler up.

 

Thanks to the efforts of Brant and Team Houston (Lindsey, Ben, and Brad) I've found my missing CCB growler and unopened Port Brewing Old Viscosity.

I'm still looking for my Stanley's pizza. I've pretty much given up on the glassware.

I wish I could recall everything I tasted yesterday, but that's just way too difficult of a task.

 

2-3 slices? I'm glad you got some at least. Of the two pizzas I bought for us I had a single slice!

 

Had a good time and was happy that I got to eat my entire Sparky pizza, get rid of all the beer I brought and get BB3 for me and 2 trade partners. Maybe that witch was eating all the pizza. We should have cracked her open to see if any pizza was inside or gold.

 

i'm sure i asked several times yesterday, but he's an austinite, yeah?

 

Had a great time yesterday, and there were some amazing beers shared. Good to meet a few new BA's too. It was an event I will not soon forget. And much respect goes out to Jeff, Jester King, Stanley's, and all who participated and brought bottles to make it as awesome as it was.

 

haha i've loved getting all the "do you have/have you seen my...?" texts. like we all just met up and took each other's stuff home. what fun!

 

Thanks again for the trade! It was nice to meet you and everyone else. I had a great time! I hope everything else got cleaned up after I left. I took a good chunk of the bombers but there were still quite a few full beers when I left (~ 2:30 PM). Thanks again to Jeff and Ron for the great hospitality. Jester King is a great location for a bottle share. I hope this happens again!
