We just got it in on Friday, and I'm already working on my second four-pack. It's delicious, especially at it's price point!

 

I just opened my first bottle, bottled 5/7/13, and I am drinking as I type this. I am blown the fuck away. Would not have expected this from Clown Shoes, but like you, I have recently been hearing great things about it. And what's more, I have recently become very interested in the Galaxy hop, after tasting some great beers made with it from Chicago. Those are the reasons I gave this a shot, and I am glad I did!

Nose is super tropical fruity and sweet. Tastes very big and imperial, like you might expect, but the pine and fruitiness are perfectly balanced with the malt and alcohol. I like the shit out of this. Glad I bought a four pack! Might go buy more! Cheers!

 

I just bought a 4 pack here the other day for $8, haven't had a chance to try it yet but this thread makes me hopeful!

 

I agree with most of the reviewers who give it high marks.

I liked it a lot. It reminds me of Jai Lai, which is a good thing.

 

I had a 4 pack a while back, and thought it was okay. A bit darker and a bit more caramel-y and sweet than I preferred, but I like Galaxy hops and the dry hop of them shined through pretty well.

Not a bad beer, and priced well, so it's something to mix it up from time to time.

 

I enjoyed the one 4-pack I found and would buy more, but it doesn't seem to be getting much distribution where I am. Is this supposed to eventually be year round?

Bought a 4-pack because I couldn't get a single. Thought it was heavy on the caramel malts, and not dry enough for the hop profile. Finished the remaining 3 bottles after a few weeks. Not a fan, but it seems I am in the minority.

 

A nice hoppy drink for sure, definitely worth trying out. Not a big Clown Shoes fan, but found this one pretty good.

Totally Agree, seems very sweet and a bit unfinished.

 

Well...I don't like syrupy (D)IPAs, so galactica could be too syrupy for my taste. I love Galaxy though.

But what the ...? "Pretty good for Clown Shoes". I have to say, their Stouts are world class for sure. Same thing with Hoppy Feet 1.5, awesome stuff. I have had also Tramp Stamp and it was ok, even it was probably quite old bottle. I liked also Genghis Pecan Pie Porter quite a lot. Muffin Top, Lubrication and Hoppy Feet wasn't as good, but not bad eather and they were even old bottles.

Let's see how their Brown Angel, Eagle Claw Fist and Clementine goes. Just bought those.

I think many just hate their labels and names.
