I've heard Lazy Magnolia is already in Houston, has anyone seen them? Who is the distributor?

    Thanks,

Saw some at downtown Specs this week and they were the featured brewer Wednesday night at the Sugar Land Flying Saucer. Haven't heard who the distro is. cheers

Yea...what they have available in bottles, meh. Their stout is good. And their one-offs and special offerings are pretty good.

I have had plenty of their stuff, try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but been burned too many times.

BA ratings are not everything. I don't really use that as my gauge unless I am familiar with the brewery, but in general I am more often underwhelmed by their offerings. Love the stout though.

Not every brewery is out there to satisfy the beer nerd crowd with extreme offerings. Some breweries just make good beer that most people will like. I will probably not buy any Lazy Magnolia stuff until I have a chance to try it on draft somewhere. Always great to have more breweries in TX even if they are not geared towards the beer nerd crowd. I am not excluding myself from this beer nerd crowd

That's why I'm a fan of singles. I prefer to buy a solo when trying new brew.

I'm a fan of the pecan brown and extremely interested in the sweet potato cream stout.
