Lunker tomorrow at 5:30 at the brewery. Lunker is a 14.4% English Barleywine aged in Templeton Rye Whiskey barrels. As the story goes, the whiskey produced in Templeton, IA was said to be Al Capone’s favorite spirit. You can read more about the distillery and the rye produced in Templeton over at Heavy Table.
Lunker was aged in Templeton barrels for 5+ months. If you had a chance to try this during The Beer Dabbler Showcase at the Winter Carnival, you’ll find this to be a different beer, thanks to time and barrel aging. And at 14+%, this is a beer you can age should you choose to do so.

It's private property, the only issue that would arise is if the owners of the business park specifically called the police. I should differ to the house legal counsel, but as I understand it, consumption of alcohol in public becomes an issue in public spaces, sidewalks, public right of way, parks, etc, or in obvious cases of intoxication.

 

I do not blame them for discouraging an illegal activity from happening on their property. I mean, I wanna drink outside in front of the brewery with my beer people but I also understand where they are coming from.

 

I won't say do it, but if you do get busted, feel free to call me.

 

Oh, and if anybody brings me some empty 750mL bottles, I'll give you a high five. brown or clear glass, works for me.

Just 750 mL though, I'm all set on other sizes.

 

Can I get that on letterhead.
