Cue the "it doesn't taste as good as the last batch" comments

 

Wholefoods on 5th and wilshire in Santa Monica has some coming in as well as some Pliny the elder

 

And thank goodness. Now it's just far and away the best regularly available bottled Imperial IPA in the market.

 

I thought it was a tad bit better than the last release, but that may just be my opinion. I thought it had a little more "dank" and a little less bitterness.

 

Or not.

 

If i cant get any, i'll hold out for ruinten.

 

How much do the bottles go for in the store?

 

grabbed some at the Liberty Station location. Plus grabbed some AB and IRS, I am now officially ready for Brazil

 

$7 per bottle + tax & CRV.

 

Thanks wanted to compare with local bottle shops.

 

When were you there yesterday? I got there right around 5, so I could grab a glass at the bar as well.

First time I went there. Even though I knew where it was located, I sort of got lost trying to figure out how to get into the place. Are they banned from using any temporary signage?

 

yeah it can be hard to find, I guess they have no intention on having signs out, though there was an employee greeting people outside of the store entrance. I went around 6-6:30. Just stopped in for bottles and left.

 

I picked up a case today and paid 6.99 per. Its a lot more available as the hype train recedes. My WF had tons on the shelf and the local Pavillions had several bottles in the cooler as well. This is a good thing. It should be a year round bottle,just like Ruination. I can see it happening.

Stopped at Stone Pasadena today before work and picked up 12 bottles and 2 growler fills. They had 60 cases left. Minus 1. 59 cases. Not sure about the Enjoy hype thing. Asked how it went yesterday at the Pasadena store and the guy said it wasn't bad at all. The Oceanside store sounded like they were gonna sell out by today or this evening. Less cases were sent to Oceanside. This round SoCal got Enjoy By. Next round? Who knows. Year round? Would be nice. Didn't get a chance to get any Enjoy By the last time it showed up at the Stone stores. Don't forget we here in SoCal do get it every round. You just got to make the effort if you really want it.

 

It finally was distributed in my Town for the first time. I picked up a case because nobody in the valley even knows what it is. It is tasting so good fresh !

 

Looks like they're skipping everything west of I-5 in NorCal. That sauce is weak.

 

Congrats. It's a damn good beer.

 

Wish I lived closer to a Stone store. Went to a few shops around me today and ended up with 2.

 

I'm not sure what state you live in but it most certainly has not in the California I live in.
