Verticals... what's your excuse?

    Because the only way to make rare beer look less rare is to line up each year together at once and take a photo. Also, rare verticals are great to fap to if your Internet is down.

    Hmmm... we just did a vertical of DL and everything before 2010 wasn't very good. Not sure if this one ages well past 3 years. But that was only one tasting

    we did a 06-12 DL vert 6 months ago and the 2010 and older versions were the best with the 2008 standing head/shoulders above the rest... I would think most people here would say DL needs at least 3+ years to really shine

    the 121212 got me hooked on these as it was great fresh.the others not so much as they were aged though I'd love to try the stout vertical

    That's called a "horizontal" (no joke) . . .at least it is in the wine world.
