if it's going to be the same size as those, good for everyone. should be plenty to go around... the ghetto kroger still had lots of hellfighter as of the last time I was there 8 days ago or so...

11th and Shepherd. They usually have a very good selection, especially with Karbach.

So I was talking to a local HEB rep and they mentioned that Karbach no longer self distributes. Does anyone have more info or know more about this?

My rep was worried that he might have a harder time getting the more limited releases now.

    Thanks

I needs Hop Delusion. I've been craving it ever since I ran out.

It was at SL Saucer last night. I'm leaving here right now to check if it is still at downtown Saucer.

If you have Untappd, look it up and it will show where people are drinking it.

Ditto. I definitely want multiple bottles of this. Hopefully it isn't too hard to come across for you Houstonians.

    Definitely not a ghetto Kroger

Definitely not. The beer selection is first rate, always expanding, and Resendo (the beer & wine manager) knows his stuff and is very receptive to requests and suggestions.

Ya that was my point. I initially figured it was that Kroger but then decided it couldn't be cause I don't think its ghetto at all. Heights Kroger is the appropriate terminology but oh well.

The Heights has not always been this gentrified. If you visited when that Kroger first opened, people would understand.

Yes, agreed on all comments. The beer selection there is great, recently met Rosendo and he is top notch... however there is truth in this article. Go to there any night of the week after 9 pm, and you'll see what he's talking about.

I live within a rock throw of the place, and there are definitely still some "ghetto" elements around it... lol

    ITL Krogers all have nicknames.

Nicknames were given a while back and certain neighborhoods have changed a lot since then.
