I almost got jumped last time I grabbed the last 2 bottles. The guy left them on the shelf to go get a basket and they disappeared. Oops! I guess they were too heavy.
They are all over nh also. The 5/28/13 batch is great! Found them marked between $6.99 and $8.50. Got a case that rang up @ 6.49ea and felt good about it...
Awesome Score! But just think, a case of 24 Heady Toppers is also $78 (after tax and deposit). I'd take 24 16oz Heady Toppers over 12 16.9oz Lunches any day at the same cost!
Headies are a much better value, but I have to drive almost 2hrs for toppers and can find the "Lunch" less than a mile from my work. All these people have raging boners over the toppers, but i find a number of The Hill Farmstead IPA/DIPA/pale to be tastier and more pedigreed(if that matters). This batch of "lunch" is better than most of the dozens of batches of toppers Ive swilled over the past couple years. On that note, I'm headed up to Waterbury this Tuesday and will be grabbing a few cases of toppers including one case specifically for trade. Anyone have any fresh Alpine beers or the latest batch of Zombie Dust?
Sorry, but this sucks. They are not available in Maine and haven't been for 2 weeks. I thought Craft Beer Guild was going to be a good thing but turns out they are carpetbagging dicks.
Got my one per year to try although there were many more available. Just feels funny to get a pint of Lagunitas Undercover draft at Pour Judgement for $6 then have my $7 near pint bottle of beer.
Picked up a bottle from Gordon's in NLON this week; they had plenty left, and if I recall, the bottle date was late May. I agree with a previous poster that the price point is a bit high, but it was definitely a damn good beer. Thinking about calling ahead and seeing if I can get a case of the 6/4 bottling; think it might fetch me some decent returns in trade?
