    Its still very good! I found it @ "The Craft Beer Store" in Belmont MA while at a week long training course. It still tasted like it did months ago. I was also nervous and only put 2 into a troegs mixed 6 I made. The perpetual ipa was nice also.

    I love it when fresh but after a month it starts to fall off considerably. The Nugget hops give it a sort of onion flavor when it isn't fresh, not pleasant. I'd wait until next year.

    Actually, there is a bad time for Nugget Nectar. I find it is after fresh, but not after finely aged.

    You should let one sit for about 6 months and try again. It's best to me at really fresh or really old. lol

    Good question, not sure about the verticals. 12.12.12 wasn't hard to come by at all, but I hadn't seen any 11.11.11 around before that gas station stop. 09.09.09 is supposed to be good. I'd grab it.

    Hoppin Frog: Barrel Aged BORIS
    Founders: Double Trouble x 4
    Crown Valley: Barrel Aged Big Bison Ale (it was cheap, so I figured I'd give it a try)
    And the winner of the haul... The Bruery: Fruet x 2 (was super shocked to find this on the shelf)

    • Compass, from Southern Tier - like an Imperial pale ale from what I gather
    • Finally! Stone's Espresso Imperial Russian Stout has hit LI
    • Whamm-o: The Bruery's Bois - a whopping $33 but if Cuir and Fruet are any indication, it's gonna be well worth it!
    • Doom - last one on the shelf AFAIK - such a great drink, I couldn't resist
    • It's Lunch-time again - can't say enough about this gem
    • Orval - wanted something classy and pale - from the trappist masters

    Hope all your hauls are happy!

    Crooked Stave has finally come to NYC! Picked these up at Bierkraft after work. A bit pricey but I don't feel like hunting every WF in the city tomorrow.
