You missed out. Great IIPA at a great price when it was Pro Am.

No worries bro, I sent SS an E Mail. They will run all of their pricing by Lutter in the future.

When I stopped by yesterday afternoon, he said he had already sold about half of what he got.

Guess people are desperate. Either that or someone bought a case or two.

I felt this was priced fairly at 2 bucks a can.

Now you can get 1.5 cans worth for $6-7! :grinning:

I feel this should have been in a 22oz format personally.

Even the draft price at growlers works out to $.30/ounce. Comparatively the can release was $.17/ounce.

Twice the price for a beer that so far is not getting the rave reviews of Pro-Am 12. Think I will wait until the can release to try it again.

I have a hard time chasing IPAs.

They're all the same to me, albeit slight differences.

U crazy Daemose. Lots of bad IPA's but the good ones definitely separate themselves from the rest.

I have a horrible sense of smell, so I don't get much out of them.

You should just stick to eating lettuce and drinking water, then.

I get what you're saying, that I shouldn't be able to taste either, but I didn't say I couldn't taste at all, I just said my nose isn't very sensitive.

One's sense of smell plays a factor in how something tastes to them.

Yeah. Thats what I was just implying you were implying. You are going off textbook information while I am going off personal experience.

I just got 1 Valkirye to try before I buy any for trading partners.

I grabbed one at D&Q knowing Specs should be cheaper. I had a few minutes later and stopped by Specs. Valkirye was the same price!!! So I checked some Jester King beers. A shocking trend...

    Das Wunderkind:
    D&Q $14.99
    Specs $15.99

    Salt Lick:
    D&Q $12.99
    Specs $13.99

Those are the Cash Prices for Specs too.

I was shocked. D&Q who is usually more and often gets ragged on for their higher prices is now cheaper or the same on all 3 beers I looked at.

I thought I noticed prices going up at the Liquor Giant, but wow!

Got a bottle of Valkyrie today despite the bottle size/price and mixed reviews. Not only is not ProAm, it is not even a mediocre beer. I have had a few sips and am about ready to pour it.

FYI: Craft Pride in ATX has Valyrie on tap and in bottles right now.

Drinking a bottle right now. I'll tell you right off the bat. This is NOT pro-am. Mouth feel is a lot lighter. No where near as malty. Heck, even the ABV is different. It is not as good as Pro-Am, BUT it's not horrible. Vet mediocre. Petrol did have some off flavors, but not much. Almost tastes the same as the draft. Pro-Am was a much better beer at half the price. Will not be buying another bottle, but will not drain pour this one either.
