    This!

Grabbed one to give it a chance its nothing like ProAm, is way too malty and is missing the great hop profile. This bottle should cost about $3 if not less. I've had better Full Sail and Widmer IPAs, :slight_frown:

Damn it sucks to hear they couldn't reproduce the Pro Am. Is it weird that Pro Am was someone else's recipe (some competition) and it took forever to finally bottle and distribute it after they announced Valkyrie? Am I reading too much into this? I'd love for it to be as great and cheap as Pro Am 12 was, sucks to hear its not.

Just picked up some Enjoy By @ Sunrise and saw this beer... prices were almost the same on both beers, give or take 50 cents... and yeah, I decided to pick up 2 Enjoy By's instead of one of each because of this thread. I guess I'll wait for the cans.

Picked up a bottle today for kicks. I don't distinctively remember, but if this is more maltier than pro am we got problems

Damn, i dont know what is going on with Valkyrie. When I had it Monday night at Golden Retriever in Magnolia, it was spot on Pro Am. But I had it yesterday at Red Brick in Conroe and it was off, it was not what I tasted Monday night. I think I am going to go out to the tour tomorrow and see how it taste there and see if I can fish for some info.

eh. seemed a tid bit less maltier to me. there's more of a bitter back end....which i love.

malt profile was extremely strong up front...

the hops were sloppy and not very tasty to me...

I've had imperial reds that were closer to an IIPA than this... :slight_frown:

cant say the same. i guess my palate is a bit different. i didn't think it was that bad.

iono what aromatics they used, but it wasn't upfront, just subtle.

the bitterning hops were definitely present.

as far as malt profile, i didn't get full body or sweetness.

far from dry...but far from a malt bomb.
