I'm genuinely sorry! This comment was aimed at Brass Tap Brandon. I've lived in the area 25 years and I've still never been to Lakeland.

 

It's not a bad place, I've stopped in a few times after work, always a good time and great staff.

I just picture Tuesday being a shit ton of people, half whom can't even pronounce Hunahpu, all filing in for the chance to "win" some. No thanks, I'm good.

 

I'll take my chances with the lotto emails. If I get any, great! if not... so be it. Can always trade for it.

 

We definitely got a bunch of phone calls yesterday from people's 87 year old grandmas asking us about "poonahpoo" and such. Good stuff.

 

You should tell them, sure we have poonahoo come on in! The more you buy, the better chance you have.

 

I wonder how many emails they got today for the drawing tomorrow.. hmm..

 

Probably a few thousand+ such a long window means everyone and their grandmother(s) was able to get in.

 

Gotta admit, called the wife and said send an email, NOW! I was out of town the whole week of the first release so I am playing catch up and trying to grab at least one bottle.

Considering the very first one that surprised everyone had that many in a similar window :-/

 

I wonder if there will be a second round of the email drawings for the bottles that the winners don't pick up within 28 days. Some commenting on Facebook are asking to have CCB ship the bottle if they win.

I also wonder if they will do anything different for the last drawing. This was #5 I think.

 

Those comments piss me off. So many people are too lazy to read. Fortunately they likely disqualify themselves as I bet they ask the same questions in the body of their emails.

 

CCB's facebook feed is filled with people who never read the status or links. Most people ask for something to be specially brewed for them, complain when something is tapped two weeks and 4 days from their last visit or someone asking them why aren't shipping to their town in another state. I miss the people complaining about growler tuesdays, so many people gave me so many laughs complaining about screwing over "working people".

 

I guess I'm just growing curmudgeonly at a younger age than normal haha. I usually enjoy reading the dumb comments but lately they just drive me crazy. I think the tipping point came a week or 2 ago when some lady said something to the effect of, "My boyfriend and I are coming in 4 weeks and will be there from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on xx day. He absolutely loves pineapples. It will make his day if you brew your Right Side up Pineapple Cake lager for him. Thanks so much, Luvya!" Yes, there is some hyperbole in there but the actual comment was way too close to what I just wrote to not get annoyed. And you know the posters are 100% sure CCB will comply with their outlandish wishes...ughhh.

 

That's awesome. I'm gonna start requesting breweries make beer just for me from now on. Then, I'll trade it for whalz
