Sure it's a fair question, but wildly innacurate and pretty shitty.

This is correct, by a LOT. Hence the price increase. If you see it for less, someone wasnt paying attention to their invoices.

Yeah it came in late. The dock was jammed with trucks, they couldnt back in, had to come back. Always be aware that "Should be here tomorrow" is a best case scenario. If the truck crashes or something, well, there you go.

See above on pricing. And yes, there's less.

Less produced. It's a finicky beer.

I dont know the science behind it, but it's a Diacetyl bomb unless cared for a like a sick child. I'd ask Laffler on twitter or something.

As in more the brewery has to care for it or as in we have to properly store it?

Sorry, meaning the brewery looks after it. The bottled product is ready, otherwise it wouldnt be bottled.

I asked at the dg binnys today, and they said next week. Famous in Lombard had about 8 bottles on the shelf this afternoon, if that helps, $17.99 each.

I noticed that Juliet is labeled 2012. Was there a 2011 Juliet or did they skip a year due to the scheduled 2011 release being delayed?

Fair enough. I'm still a huge supporter regardless of ownership. From what I'm reading, it is the distributor that increased the price. Is that correct?

Here (here) is a tweet that says it went up by $3 last month (as others have said.) I imagine that increase is by the brewery? One would hope that the distributor can't unilaterally institute a 15-20% price increase. Seems like that would be way out of line.

So I bought 2. One for me and one for a buddy at Binny's for $20.. Apparently he doesn't want it anymore.. Anyone in the Chicago downtown area that wants to pick it up around the loop can get if for $22 (for the tax as well) if they missed out on the Juliet as all the Binny's in downtown ran out the day it arrived. Otherwise I'll just trade or return it.. Not looking to travel so please come downtown where I live/work.
