Congrats to Wake n Bake

WnB is an amazing beer, tons of coffee, roast, chocolate yet balanced and smooth. Pours like freaking motor oil though, one of the darkest beers I've ever seen, like the blackest of black holes.

 

I will respectfully disagree. We did a side by side with these two beers about a year and a half ago. Both were fresh, and both were very good. But FBS was clearly the better beer.
But whatever you do, drink it fresh! The coffee falls out fast.

 

W&B is tremendous, no hype needed.

 

What fell out?

 

March was the key month to buy FBS, as stores were clearing room for All Day. $35 a case almost everywhere in Michigan. :-)

TW in GSO was selling it at $4.50 a 4 pk at one point.

 

Picked mine up for $3.99 a 4-pk at TW in Tampa.... the day before Hunahpu Day.

 

Ha, Jesus damn near free.

 

Should have seen the scene.... BAs from all over the country scouring the aisles at TW (about 2,000 feet from CCB), just 12 hours or so before CCB's gates opened for Hunahpu Day.... some were like deers in the headlights, awash with confusion over how much W n B they should buy, because their suitcases would already be filled with Hunahpu. It was classic.

 

I'd ship it to myself and be done with it.
