Looks like I'll definitely be in Austin June 15th again to visit if anyone wants to meetup. I know there's still at least 2 of you I need to do trades with. 13DegN and Lutter.

 

Looking for some Boxer's for a couple of trades. Does anyone know where I can find this in Austin? I've checked a couple of places with no luck.

My buddy is driving and he's making the calls so I'll let him decide. But we'll be there early. I'm getting to his house at 7AM (sound familiar mrkmrk?) and we'll plan to be in Austin by 10 am. Jester King at regular opening time unless I may bring a few bottles and share them around before they open for tours if that's cool.

 

According to Stanley's, JK to be a brewpub in August. Open 5 days a week.

 

That's exciting. Will be there to harass Jeff way more often.

 

We are thinking five days a week at this point, if the laws pass. Most likely Wednesday through Sunday. This is all unofficial however. This is just our latest thinking. Also, we're not specifically aiming for August. We're just thinking late summer or fall.

As a satisfied, repeat customer of Jester King and the crew, I stand behind this decision 100%. Monday and Tuesday are just kind of "bleh" days to be open.

 

Funk and Sour Fest typically takes place in mid-late October, sometime around Austin beer week. Don't know for sure they'll be doing it again this year, but that would be your best bet.

 

First time at jester king. I'm in heaven.... Good seeing HopAg!

 

As per my conversation with Jeff last week, they'll be having Funk 'n Sour fest this year. It will coincide with Austin Beer Week.

 

Went out there for the first time yesterday with my wife and friends. To sum it up:
- It's my new favorite brewery experience
- Stanley's has great pizza, and BB3 selling for $6 is a steal IMO
- Jeff is a great guy
- AR is f'ing fantastic

There will be more visits in my future.
