Possibly not a good idea on a work night

 

Since Dark Horse finally started hitting a European brotha up a few weeks ago, I'm finally getting to try some of their other stuff besides Plead.

Up early for work tomorrow, so having a mid-range ABV nightcap.

Never been a fan of adding blueberries to dark beers. They just seem like two "dark" flavors to me, no real contrast there. Something sour works, or something so sweet that it gives added dimension to the roasty malts. Blueberries don't really do a whole lot of anything, but as we all know:

- Blueberry stains are utterly inremovable from any piece of clothing
- Blueberries aren't sour, they aren't really sweet, arguably the blandest of all fruits

So yes, blueberries are the most useless fruit in the world. Stop empowering them.

But hey, the beer itself is pretty tasty

First time with this gem. Awesome!

When trying a new terrific beer it is nice to have a point of reference. This will serve the purpose

first time having this.

 

Just finished a Rince Cochon BSPA and chatting with my buddy Josh, who's a guitar player. Here's a taste from his band:

 

Decided that while it's raining and I'm in the garage doing some brew chores, I may as well play around while I got some chicken smokin.

In the hops mood, so Terrapin Hopzilla. Yummy DIPA.


Poured a Hoptimum, and decided it needed MOAR hops.

Tossed some Mosaic in a tea infuser and poured the bottle through it..

Oh, yes, please. This mutha is GOOD!!!!!!!!! Man it's so fresh smelling!




I think the next Hoptimum is getting Citra while I have some out to dry hop my farmhouse IPA..

Good grief this is so good. Carb is still good on it this way too, much smoother!

Dog wash mission accomplished all fingers a counted for..time for some daddy time. New line on the pole and an 06 to enjoy with Madness "Our House" on the spinner.
