I would like to see all IPAs in cans. It may be the Heady Topper bias for me, but the cans are awesome. I wouldn't want to see a wild ale in a can or westvleteren bc that'd just seem weird, but I'd welcome most beers in cans.

I was drinking chain breaker white ipa all evening while bbqing and I would love it if it came in cans. I have a feeling I will be drinking a ton of these on the boat and camping this summer.

Because as much as I love stronger beers at home, at the lake and bbq I just can't maintain and I need a more drinkable beer. There is nothing worse than being out camping and a catfish pulling in your pole because of inability to stop it besides falling in.

Not that this is light, but very drinkable and can't wait to try it in cans that I recently have seen on the shelf, Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout from Anderson Valley. Summer wise, I really enjoy Brooklyn's Summer Ale in the can, Lord Chesterfield has finally arrived in the state and Genesee cream ale is a summer staple as well, now back in the original packaging WOOHOO!!...Keepin' an eye out for their spring time Heritage Pack as well, great for the spring grillin' season.

Ideally I'd like a filtered beer to be part of the decision process to be canned because canned beer is most likely to be drank directly from the can, and doing that will generally disturb any sediment and cause the beer to lose its best flavor. I don't have anything against drinking the sediment, it's just that I think that the sediment typically off-flavors a beer when it gets mixed in, and I'd prefer the best flavor to come through without having to sip gently.

I'll also add to the list of those replies above that would like to see Founders All Day IPA. I don't know if it is filtered or not, but that one would be worth 'sipping gently' if I had to.

Isn't this happening rather soon? Also Two-Hearted?

I'll echo the Gumballhead and All-Day IPA choices, plus add Edmund Fitzgerald and Obsidian Stout. I think those are all under 5.5%.

Bell's will be releasing certain beers in cans sometime this spring, though they have yet to decide on which beers and what can size they will use.

All Day IPA, Gumballhead, Short's ControversiALE and Anchor Steam are a few I'd like to see canned.
