The hoppy wheat beers have been tasting pretty good for me this summer. IE: Lagunitas A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' & Southern Tier Hop Sun. Also, Southern Tier LIVE is pretty fantastic for summer.

Cold American wheats (like Boulevard) are very popular around here during the summer.

Good beer is good beer. Season has nothing to to with it.

Can't believe SNPA has only shown once.

    I agree with:
Prima Pils, Summer Love, SA Noble Pils, GL The Wright Pils, 312, Lil Sumpin Sumpin, All Day

    And add:
Arcadia Witsun, Weihenstephaner Pilsner and my new favorite (for now) Columbus IPA.

Oh and never forget PBR tallboys.

Honestly its not that bad if you think of it as a lemonaid with a splash of beer flavor. as a beer though....pretty bad.

Being from Wisconsin originally and having an EXTREME amount of pride for the beer that our wonderful state produces, I really want to like it. But it just tastes like a really shitty wine cooler to me. Their Big Eddy series totally makes up for it, so I suppose it's all good.

i have never tried big eddy but definitely want to. I drink a fair amount of sunset wheat though so for me that kind of offsets the disaster that is summer shandy. In terms of price, taste, and availabilty, sunset wheat has a lot going for it.

I've always loved Dales Pale Ale on summer days. Really easy to drink and lite and tastes goooooooooooood.

Second the Summer Love - Sunshine Pils is awesome this year as well. Lately I've been grabbing Weihenstephaner Kristallweissbier quite a bit. Really any German pils or hefe will work!
