    In celebration of nothing more than the beer itself, I give you...

    Their fifth anniversary ale.
    Here's what I learned: the 1st: Papier (paper), 2nd: Coton (cotton), 3rd: Cuir (leather), 4th: Fruet (made-up word to replace "flowers"), and this year's Bois represents wood.

    I've had Cuir and Fruet, both about this time last year, so the Cuir had about a year on it, I suppose. My fave so far is Fruet, but don't ask me why. I'm just going by my numbers. These are all amazing beers.

    You gotta dig old ales and their kin (barleywines, wee heavies) and you gotta dig bourbon barrel-aging, or you just gotta dig big beer. This one's another stunner from The Bruery.

    Glassware matters. Well, to me at least - y'know, when it's an option... A BBA old ale like this deserves the snifter, if its an option. But don't worry, this beer cannot fail you.
