    1) Makes sense. If the beer is that bad I guess its understandable
    2) Regarding Multiples: Don't you have any friends, family, or co-workers who might want them? Or, why not leave them in the fridge and see if you ever do? Do you cook with beer? Oh wait never mind you drain poured a month old Hopslam... why am I typing?

I used to drainpour heaps, now I carefully audit my purchases so as to make it a rarety. A consistent/promising score across both sites is usually a prerequisite for purchasing.

It's not like this is limited to craft drinkers, when I've given friends craft beer sometimes they have refused to drink it after a few sips, necessitating the old "drainpour".

This phenomena isn't limited to craft beer drinkers, we just drainpour shit beer, whereas mainstream drinkers are more likely to drainpour craft beer because it doesn't taste shit enough for them.

Wild Blue is the only beer I've drain poured unless you count warm/flat day-old bud/natty light.

BMC doesn't have nearly enough flavor to taste bad IMO. Plus you know what your getting when you open it because they all taste pretty much the same.

Is this the thread where we're supposed to be serious or funny? I'm 24, and a young whipper-snapper, so I need help with the rules. I sometimes forget what I can and can't do.

Only drain poured once (I guess it ended up being 4 bottles total) Left Hand 400 lb monkey. First and second bottle were relatively good...forgot about it for a couple weeks in the fridge. Completely spoiled in taste and scent when I opened the next bottle. Next bottle, same deal. Didn't even bother smelling the last 2.

That was for my general health though, not due to bad taste.

I voted 3-5, although I'm not positive on the number. The only beer that sticks out in my mind is Vertical Epic 11.11.11. I could only take 2 or so sips then immediate drain pour. Just tasted like cinnamon flavored vomit to me. I can stomach just about anything too. Almost drain poured a bad bottle of Westy 12 the other day. Glad that wasn't my first impression because I'd never drink it again. Hopefully my last 2 bottles will be good.

I don't recall any I've tasted and immediately drain poured, but I've found a few 6-month old IPAs in the back of fridge that I decided weren't worth finishing after a few sips.

Drain poured once. Belgo anise, only because it was ridiculously bad IMO. Most other times I drink a beer that i am less than satisfied with I just enjoy them for what they are and I'm fine with that.

Only once have I had a 'drain-pour' because when I was small my momma would always make me clean my plate with that nagging line 'But the starving children in Ethipoia'.

Oh but Voodoo Bacon I could not drink you; you were so bad; however when I drained you into a ham and bean soup you turned out not so bad after all.

The word "craft" in the poll enabled me to click "0".

Would have been 2 otherwise: Budweiser Chelada and a particularly heinous German Radler.

I'll give infected beers a go, but I usually pour them out after a few sips have passed through these lips. Only other time I drain pour is if I fall asleep before finishing a beer, and even then it's only if there's an ounce or three left.
