Stone Double Bastard in Albany Area

    I'm headed to the Saratoga Brewfest on Saturday, and am wondering if there are any stores in the Albany area / Capital District that still have Stone Double Bastard in stock. Can't find any info online, and most stores are probably sold out, but it can't hurt to ask. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    I don't believe that beer is sold out everywhere, if anywhere.

    Good to hear. Perhaps "sold out" wasn't the best term. I'm saying that local stores have run out of their large amounts recently. A local store gets a ton, and it's now gone.

    IIRC, Double Bastard is a seasonal release in the fall. Perhaps that's why you won't be able to find much of it anywhere.

    It's not mentioned on the website, unfortunately. Appears to be a solid fest. 150+ craft breweries. $45 for unlimited samples.

    80+ Breweries and 150+ beers. I doubt there will be growler fills.

    I will be there, looking forward to it. Last year there was 38 breweries, so this event has grown quite a bit. Weather looks great too.

    Couple places to call to see if any Double Bastard is still around:
    EBI Beverage in Saratoga - short drive
    Westmere Beverage - 30 mins from Saratoga
    Hoosick Street Beverage - ~30 mins as well
    Glenville Beverage (Saw some just a few weeks ago) - 30 mins drive
    Minogues Beverage (friend just got some last week) - Malta Location - 10 min drive

    Will check those places out, thanks for the head's up. Judging from Minogue's website, they have a pretty solid selection.

    I've never been to a fest with bottles/growlers for sale. Ever. I've been to quite a few.

    FYI, was in Glenville Beverage on teh way home from work last night. they had at least 3 bottles in the cooler of DB.
