Have any recommendations for someone visiting Portland on where to find their sours?

Belmont Station, John's Marketplace, Beermongers, Bridgetown Beerhouse, APEX (attn: huge markup warning!), come to mind...

Market of Choice, Whole Foods and New Seasons will typically have some as well. While I haven't personally gone to look, I would assume that the Fred Meyer in N. Hollywood and at Hawthorne will have some as well.

There's some variation in what's available, depending on what store you visit (naturally), but supplication and consecration in particular seem to be available just about any place that has a half way decent beer selection (which in PDX, is pretty much everywhere).

Just to echo ramnuts comment about Apex; the only reason to buy beer to go at Apex is if they have something that you're dying to try, and you can't find it any place else in town. That shouldn't be the case with RR sours, so I would avoid APEX if you're just going there to find some RR sours to take home.

    Good luck.

    I stand corrected.

That really surprises me, as both places have a pretty decent beer selection, especially the one on Hawthorne.

I've seen Market of Choice carry them, for sure the West Linn location and the terwilliger one should have them as well, though I havent stopped in there to look for em before, only the west linn one

FM in Lynnwood carried consecration and damnation at one point. Even picked up a Pliny there once. Such a distant memory now though.

Well, seeing how certain QFC's carried it (U-Village, Wallingford), that doesn't surprise me.

No, I work at the station. I just forgot to edit out the first part of your sentence when I quoted you. Now I almost wish we stocked milk so I could could offer it to the Pliny hunters...

Has anyone seen any RR sours around Portland or Bend lately? (Or anywhere in between?) I'll be down near Bend this weekend and have a craving.

[Yes, I realize I'm reviving a year-old thread. Better than creating a new one for the same question.]

I saw Consecration at my local New Seasons (Cedar Hills) about an hour ago.
