You'll also need to track down Alesmith Summer.

To make a long story short, yes. The individual pizza ports make their own unique beers at each location, but on tap/growlers only. Port Brewing sees distribution but doesn't have the same variety as the individual Pizza Ports.

Do Societe growlers hold up if shipped or do they need to be cold, does steel allow maintaing freshness if warm?

It looks like I will focus on Bad Boy, Citra, and Pizza Port when they get bottled/canned look into Port. I appreciate your participation in helping me sort through this and you might be hearing from soon regarding filling these orders.

Does anyone have some Chocolate Rain they'd trade?

They have some shared ownership, but they aren't the same. You can't fill a Pizza Port growler at Port Brewing and vice versa.

I thought Tap It IPA was very good and don't understand the ratings. It is seriously a great beer especially when fresh.

Must get RuinTen. Coming out soon and limited. One of the best. And although I am not a fan, lots of people like Knuckle Sandwich.

I know Saigon responded to you but, the answer is NO, they are not the same. From the Port Website:

Aren’t Port Brewing and Pizza Port the same?

Nope. Two of our founders, Vince and Gina Marsaglia, are the owners of the Pizza Port empire, and a third Port Brewing founder — Tomme Arthur — used to be head brewer at Pizza Port.

It’s true that Port Brewing spun-off of Pizza Port several years ago, but it’s a completely separate company with its own brewers, employees and direction. Even the beer names we share with Pizza Port – Hop 15, Shark Attack, Wipeout (holdovers from when our head brewer was theirs) – have gone in different directions.

Sure, we’re proud to have “Port” in our name, and we still stay in contact with the extended family. But like any member that grows up and moves out on their own, we’ve established our own identity and we’re making a unique mark on the world on our own terms.

Pizza Port is an awesome place both for their tasty grub and fine grog, but if you want to know more about what’s going on there, you’ll have to check out their website (www.pizzaport.com) or give one of their locations a visit. (And if you do drop into a Pizza Port, can you do us a favor tell them we said “hi” and we’re sorry we haven’t called. We know we should, but we’ve just been really busy.)

    Agreed.

Hopefully Beachwood bottles another IPA. Thrillseeker was great.

    No, just kidding.

Definitely Hop 15. Habanero Sculpin if you're into that. Jagged Edge IPA is a sleeper for me.

Some might say plain ole Alesmith IPA. As much as I love Alesmith, I wouldn't go so far.

I'll throw in Marin White Knuckle as well, since no one has said it.

Bear Republic has Racer 5000 on right now, and it's awesome. I'd try for a growler of that.

If that's a single hop "triple" IPA w/Amarillo then sign me up! I love that hop.
