Based on ratings I have Sam Adams Maple Pecan Porter rated 30.1% higher than the average.

New England Brewing's Sea Hag IPA. Don't know if the recipe has changed, but the BA rating is just flat-out wrong. Outstanding beer!

Based solely on my ratings its CCB 110k + OT batch 5. I had it 3 days after bottling and it was fantastic. I do think the current overall rating isn't reflective of how good this beer was as people are still rating it a year later when its certainly fallen off.

I also want to throw a shout out to Sam Adams Summer Ale. Personally I really enjoy this beer and don't get the hate towards it.

Wolaver's oatmeal stout. Not saying it is the greatest but it is better than the ratings.

I completely agree. We went through a keg of this in an hour at my small wedding with mostly non-BAs. This is a great "gateway" beer. Very low ABV likely causes this to be rated consistently lower than it should be.

Is that the one with the grains of paradise? because if it is, I like that one too.

I think Troegs Troegenator is better than the 3.93 rAvg it has. It's a good example of the style and it's just a damn good beer.

Yep, that one. I also think their Whitewater IPA is really underrated. Sam Adams takes a lot of shit on BA but not everything from there is a turd. They do some good work.

I can understand the hate A. Le Coq/Harvey's Imperial Stout gets to earn a mere 78 (like it's way too sour, badly oxidized, etc.) but in my opinion, this is one of the most amazingly complex imperial stouts I've ever had before.

With the recipe change this beer is vastly underrated, totally agree.

Avery Twenty DIPA. For the life of me, I can't see how this isn't near 100. Huge juicy aroma, bitter up front with syrupy sweet backing - a brewing marvel at nearly 10% ABV. IMO, it is right there with the PtE, Heady, and the rest. I certainly hope they do this again.

How is it underrated? It has a 4.19 on here. Anything with a 4 or higher is not underrated. Especially if a 4 is considered "Outstanding".
