    Ok thanks! It had a great citrusy aroma on it, didn't drink overly hoppy and the malts came out a lot more when it warmed up a little bit. I'm assuming it wasn't terribly old.

    Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there. I called my father but he wasn't home or wasn't answering, so I trust he's having some kind of fun.

    Hit up a local taproom earlier, Equinox, and tried their Galaxy IPA, Universal Porter, and Slippery People Imperial Brown. Now back at home and closing things off with what has quickly become one of my favorite beers, Marble's Oatmeal Stout.

    Listening to some Colour Haze.

    And now our Father's Day home brew. It's a hoppy Saison that my little brother (father of 2 ) and I bottled on Valentines Day. Since we name our brews after movie quotes, we decided to call it "Don't Get Cocky, Kid Saison". Because who doesn't think of Star Wars when you think of Belgium farmhouses?

    Enjoyed a delicious Weyerbacher Double Simcoe with a dinner of grilled hot dogs, baked beans, fruit salad and chips with the family, including my Dad and father in law!

    Right now I'm having a Moylan's Our Dark Secret. For a black Ipa, it's really really nice. I went through a phase where I loved black ipa's, then thought "eh", and I'm thinking now I'm loving them again.

    Got the BGE fired up for a marinated rib eye and some chicken for the wife!

    Very nice.. Very good beer for the summer. Crack one if you got it, I've got another I'm gonna visit next Fathers Day and see what a year plus does for it.
