Just received our first installment of Bull and Bush bottles: MAN beer! Others are awaiting label completion and approval. I sampled one and it had no signs of faults.

500ml shooting for $5.49....but owner will have the final say on price tomorrow. I just "recommend"

You know if they going to leave Denver and make it up to Fort Collins?

It's a grand day and one that has been a long time coming.
Liquid Brain is definitely on the way at some point in the near future and there's even a shot we'll see a tiny, tiny bottled batch of Royal Oil...although that might never see shelves.
Next time I see Erik I'm going to have to beg him to bottle the rye whiskey (Rittenhouse, I think) aged Pimp My Rye. That one might be my all-time favorite of their barrel-aged beers.

I do not know this. They are self distributing, so I would think not at this time.
But, I think therefore I make mistakes. :flushed:

Had the chance to try Turnip The Beets out of the bottle at SAVOR in NYC last Friday; the Bull & Bush boys were stoked for their bottle launch. Looking forward to trying more from them soon.

They've been planning to bottle for a while...going back at couple of years I think. I got a chance to see their production facility last fall back when they re-opened and I don't think I've met a happier owner in my life.

It'll be interesting to see what all they end up bottling. I'm borderline addicted to their ESB, which might be my favorite beer in town.

There is no finer beer in the universe than Royal Oil. If it is bottled, I WILL get bottles, and they WILL NOT be traded. Pray you see me at a tasting...

Tanktown Brown would be a good candidate and maybe Man-Man, Justice would be nice today.

I bought a bottle of the Man beer tonight and the carb seems a little light but maybe the draft version is like that? The aroma was exactly the same as the draft version. Given that the price is the same as a pint at the pub I don't see myself purchasing this again. A $10 sixer would have been a different story.

I'm not too sure about it myself. I've never been a huge fan of English IPA's, although I love English pale ale's and bitters. The overload of hops gives it sort of a plasticy taste for me, which I didn't enjoy. If anything, I wish there was more malt to balance that out. I won't be getting this again (never been to the pub, but I'd like to go there someday).

Definitely hit up the brewpub and get a Prince Charles burger or some green chile or go on a Sunday morning and get "The Cure". The food is great and the beers are usually great too. For what it's worth I was at the pub two weeks ago and was really impressed by Man beer and I've been drinking it for eight or nine years, and I'm biased towards west coast IPA's.

This is actually pretty much spot on - my wife and I get the same things. They also have good prime rib specials twice a week and all you can eat fish & chips on Fridays, too.
I've spent way too much time and money there over the years.

Have you had the fish and chips? Nothing better with a couple of pints of good beer

Absolutely. I'm there most Fridays. I tend to struggle between getting a burger or getting the F&C.
IMO, the only fish and chips that are better are the ones at Coopersmith's in Ft. Collins.
The only thing to beware of at the Bull & Bush are the fries. They clearly make them in large batches and if you get the last of the lot, they can be gummy. I learned from an older guy to always ask for them "extra hot." That tends to net you a fresh batch. When fresh they're amazing. When they aren't, not so much.

I've only been once and was really underwhelmed by the 3 or 4 beers of theirs I tried. I plan on going back soon. I quite liked their food.

Anyone seen this on the South side of town yet? Lukas hasn't gotten it yet, haven't checked others.
