I thought we were going to get a sticky for this subject? It comes up 1-2 times a week or it sure seems like it

As you may have guessed, quite a popular request. Here's a quickie:

Most beer stuff in Denver is pretty localized to downtown area, with notable exceptions.
    Downtown
    • Breweries/Tasting rooms
    • Denver Beer Co.
    • Wynkoop
    • RiverNorth
    • Great Divide
    • SandLot (with Rockies game)
    • Rock Bottom
    • Pints Pub (British hand pulls...and tons of scotch)
    Beer Bars/Resaurants (food that is)
    • Wynkoop
    • Breckenridge by the Ballpark
    • Falling Rock
    • Fresh Craft
    • Yardhouse
    • Uclid Hall (sp?)
    • Ale House at Amato's
    • Cheeky Monk
Stores: Argonaut, Mondo Vino (a bit farther), Total Beverage (probably the best, but not really downtown yet easy to find)

    Not Downtown
    Dry Dock Brewery
    Renegade Brewery
    Vine Street Pub/Brewery
    Bull and Bush Brewery/Pub
    Copper Kettle Brewery
    Golden City brewery (in Golden)
    Arvada Beer Brewery
    Witt's End Brewery
    Elk Mountain Brewery
    Lone Tree Brewery
    Breckenridge BBQ/Brewery

stores: Lukas, Davidson's, Mile High Wine/Spirits

that's off the top of my balding head. Try www.beermapping.com too

Hopefully they're too busy reintegrating the site after two months of disconnect to get back to you right now. I sure hope so.

I hereby designate Mebuzzard as the official "copy-and-paster" whenever this question gets asked. Thanks for putting this post together and now we can just paste it every time!

Strange, Renegade, VSP/B and Breckenridge BBQ are very close to downtown. Strange is like across the street from Sports Authority Field and Wit's End just south of that.

@mebuzzard - it's Euclid Hall and Wit's End (like Belgian Wit) thanks for putting the short post together.

Longmont? Check out left hand and oskar blues... if you have time, detour to Boulder and try our 5+ breweries. Avery is the obvious best, followed by twisted pine, boulder beer, upslope, etc...

Yeah, hopefully once this site is finally linked back up we should take Mebuzzard's list, flesh it out for different parts of the front range, and hyperlink all of the breweries to BeerFly. As long as we can update it here and there, that should cut down on the weekly re-posts.

Would any places bars or stores happen to have any pliny?

Falling Rock almost always has Pliny, right?

They've had it every time I've been in over the last couple years. Granted that's only about 6-7 times, but that's still quite a bit.

Is there a central hotel anyone can recommend or at least an area to find one? I am also planning this for later this year (Denver/Fort Collins).

the P comes here every 6 weeks or so. IF you land in Denver during their delivery week then some shops will have it (should have it). Argonaut and Mondo Vino in the downtown area. Total Bev, too. It does go quick, though

Downtown hotels are $$$. Try to find one along the light rail, which takes you downtown. La Quinta on Colorado and I-25 is one that comes to mind, but there are others. There are also hotels in the Highlands area from which you can walk downtown (20min)

Ft. Collins is a different scene for me, not sure about lodging there.

There's also a La Quinta on Park Ave & I-25 that's walkable to downtown (~10 min)

In Ft. Collins, the Armstrong and Hilton are both good hotels and within walking distance of the different breweries. The Armstrong has a slightly better location for the breweries, but can fill up fast.
The Hilton is closer to Wilbur's, which is an excellent bottle shop.
