This stuff really seems like a must try. I will put that on my "wants" to track one down. Any bottle count knowledge?

Well I have to say BGB and it's variants. Weasel version and its varians, really like those. If bottles would say FW instead of Mikkeller, they would be way more popular here.

As a Kiwi and a massive fan of Batch 31 (with a couple in the cupboard...) I am stoked to hear that.

Just wondering if you have had BA Kopi, regular Kopi Speedway, or BA Peche Mortel?

I was thinking it was aged in oak barrels, as that is an option, but I'm not sure if it's oak chips or barrels. It's amazing either way.

no I have not... I have tried vietnemese SS and thought it was amazing, but thats not a barrel aged coffee stout so I could not put that on the list. would honestly love to try all three you mentioned.

BBB is so unbalanced and mediocre, I just don't get the praise it gets.

Looking forward to trying KBBS, BAPM, BAKLS

I'm not surprised to see any of the names on this list....all awesome BA Coffee Stouts.......except one. I had BA Peche Mortel and THAT was a waste of time. Total disappointment....total.

Never had a BA Peche but I'm relatively certain I'd stab someone in the eye with a corkscrew to try it.Regular Peche Mortel converted me into a stout drinker(the coffee was a plus).I also feel like Black Xantus doesn't get enough love!

    1) BCBCS - this is the gold standard IMO. It set the bar for all
    2) BA Speedway
    3) BA Kopi Speedway
    4) KBS
    5) Peruvian Morning (non-infected)

Whoever mentioned the 8 Wired Batch 31 is also correct. That stuff was incredible. On par with KBS.

My wife and I preferred it to BCBCS one evening back in December.
Having recently shared KBS with her, I'd say Batch 31 > KBS.
    Blasphemy, I know.
