New England Brewing Co lookout thread

I've been checking at the Wine Thief locations, and as of Friday they hadn't gotten any yet, and now I'm paranoid that they'll come and go before I'm able to check back

 

Visiting CT through this tues and hoping to get some Nebco goodness. Are they open for growler fills or tastings outside of fridays? Assume they're closed for Father's Day today? And anywhere gbot still on shelves? Thx in advance!

 

They're open M-F 12-6, and 11-3 on Saturdays. Closed every Sunday.

Bot just landed in New Haven County this past week, but it's already sold out at the usual go-to Amity Wine & Spirits across the street from the brewery. They'll be canning fresh Elm City on Monday, Sea Hag on Tuesday, so you should be able to buy cans of those at the brewery if you visit.

 

I read here some had been shipped to Hartford county, and I was going to be driving through on Monday and thought I'd check a somewhat out of the way store I'd noticed while visiting a friend. Their FB page said their allotment lasted 40 minutes.

 

Just like bill said they try to ship out to distributors in each county for demand. New haven this week. Hartford, Fairfield previously. With the new tanks and canning line coming soon the guys are hoping to meet demand along with other beers.

 

Thx 4 the insight. Maybe I'll get real lucky and stumble onto some gandhi-bot. But looking forward to stopping by Nebco this wk.

 

Would be all over that offer if I wasn't going to be in Portland already for the Festival.

 

Anybody looking for Gandhi-Bot in the stratford area I happened to come across a small store by the name of Vintage Wine and Spirits.Small selection,but I noticed a full shelf of Bot in the cooler stacked two high.Its from the latest round to make it to Faifield County....(2 weeks oldish?)

Galaxy, elm city and sea hag on tap this week

 

anyone see any ghandi bot in the branford/guilford area?

 

might have to go up and get some galaxy!

 

Gonna be headed up through CT tomorrow, any gbot likely to be around the stores along the Merritt pkwy? Will be stopping in for some galaxy regardless. Cheers guys.

 

Amity in New Haven sold out in an hour

 

Was there today. Great talk with Rob. They had Galaxy, Sea Hag and Elm City for growler fills. Galaxy was excellent as was Sea Hag. Told Coriolis will be coming out soon. Also figured to have the hops necessary for FBD in the fall with a possible November release. Just have to love NEBCO!

 

You gotta ask the packies for Gandhi, then they come with the "oh we only sell to those who ask", utter bs in my opinion, just limit the amounts people can buy, don't hide the shit.

 

Mo's In Fairfield does this. Every time I ask they put on a face like they don't want to give it up... Ridiculous!

 

All the places by me just put it out. Some with limits, some without.

 

Yeah Mo's is the only place I encountered this. It just irks me the wrong way... Why give me that reaction if you have it? Didn't they get it in to sell it? So whats the BIG DEAL?! LOL! Sorry just not a fan of Mo's...

 

Most places like to save the beer for the clients that come in on a regular basis. I know when it came to KBS a lot of places saved them for me because they didn't want me going to another store.
